Sixteen on a Saturday!!!

Saturday is quickly becoming one of my favorite days to teach. I never know who is going to show up. We have the full hour to get our groove on and we have a blast!! Thank you to everyone who wakes up and gets to class on saturday!! YOU ROCK!!
We may have to move the class downstairs if we get too big.

There are nine new songs I am going to start adding. They are way fun!! So, get your dance pants on and come to class!! I am so excited for the new moves to begin.... See you soon!

Changes...

So, in January classes change a little bit. The Monday and Wednesday night classes will start at six sharp, and will be held downstairs in the main gym. The Tuesday and Thursday morning classes start at nine am sharp, but will stay in the yoga studio. Saturday class will stay the same with class at 8 am. If we can get enough people in class we will move it downstairs to the main gym as well.
Thanks for all your support and hard work!!! You all rock!!

I am not going to do the "low" song anymore. I know it is fun, but it makes me sick when I listen to what he is singing!! I hope that is alright with everyone else too.

Saturday is awesome!

I must say I am enjoying our Saturday Class so much!! We have a smaller class and it is easier to see what I am doing and the members do amazing(as well as the instructors that come). I really am having a lot of fun. I know it might be a challenge to get up, but it is worth it!!

A huge thanks to Juan from Columbia!!!

Many of you know that I have an exchange student living in my house... He also has friends that are exchange students... One of these friends is from Columbia and he gave me 50 songs that he likes from Columbia. It will take me a little while to put some choreo to the songs, but I am going to slowly incorporate these songs into our class as well as the others I am working on. So, a BIG THANK YOU goes out to Juan from Columbia!!!!

Just so you know, there will be no casses starting Wednesday night!! Happy Thanks giving!! We will see you Saturday morning at 8 am. Get your dance feet ready!!

Saturday class success!!

Today we had 5 people in class!! I know that doesn't sound like a lot, but last week we had none, so 5 is a great number!! Everyone was great, and was able to see, so that is always a plus.

I know that on the weekday classes, it may be getting a little hard to see, because of the amount of people in class. I apologize, and will try my hardest to move around a little in class so that even if you are in the back you can see. Come early and stand by me --if you need a little more cardio. It is easier to follow if you are close.

I will have another workshop when I feel the need, but right now everyone is doing so well. Please let me know if you have questions or comments or anything that may help improve the quality of classes.

Here is a new song and choreography I would like to try this week..we will see, but practice at home if you can so you will be prepared. Zumba BABY!!

Zumba success!!

Everyone is doing so well in class!!! It makes my heart soar to see people having fun. Not to mention getting fit in the process. If it was your first time in class and you don't feel like you are doing well ---don't be discouraged!! It takes a little bit of time to be able to follow a non verbal instructor, but there is a reason for my silence...fun is the reason. It wouldn't be as much fun with me yelling at you all the time. So, buck up and face the challenge!! Bring your friends and have a big party together... at Zumba!!

Just so you are aware..I have Salsa Dancing tickets for free!! This Friday at the Knitting Factory!! Come and pick some tickets up at class or see Giovanni for some. Get a group of dancers together and go party with your new Zumba moves!!!
